Indian subcontinent. In India, the Arjun tree is found in the Himalayan region, Central Indian plateau, Sahyadri ranges, and other evergreen forest areas.

• Height:

This tree grows up to 60 to 80 feet tall.

• Leaves:

The leaves are simple in type. They are oblong (oval-shaped) with a prominent midrib.

• Stem (Trunk):

The bark of this tree is whitish on the outside and pinkish on the inside. The inner wood is thick and strong.

• Flowers:

The tree flowers from March to June (spring season). The flowers are yellowish in color.

• Some homeopathic medicines are also prepared from this plant, known as Arjuna Tincture.

• Ayurvedic medicines like Arjunasava and Arjunarishta are prepared from its bark.
